It's tually ratheromplex for mages. And not something to worry about too mh til 70. When you hit 70, though, if you raid, youan use one of the many awesome tools available at that level toompare gear by plugging in numbers.

I'm new to mageness andasting in general, having leveled my druid to 70 feral all the way. Been lurking the mage forum here, and figure it's time to dive in.
I have a little flamethrowing gnome up to level 35, purely PvE, and this thread seems like a goodhae to sanithk my personal rule of thumb for stats. Intellt is fuel for killing,ontrolling, eaping, everything. I think of
it as having a value of 9. Stamina is survival...being squishy I need HP for when my "stay away" strategy fails. I think of it as having a value of 6. Spirit is regeneration...gotta get that mana bk, right? But I value it at only 3 on the ale in my head bause I'm usuallyhaiasting so most of my mana regen is when I'm drinking between fights. How's that sound so far? I bet I'm undervaluing Spirit huh? Spell Damage: I'm
starting to see gener and hool-spif +spelldamage gear. I value it more than Spirit, but am not sure how to value it relative to the other key stats, though. I figure sie I have twe as mh mana as HP (3k to 1.5k) I'm OK to start stking spell damage. Any persptive on valuing spelldam vs. raw stats while I level?
I feel extly the same way you do. Though I am no wherelose to you in progression on my mage, it'd just redulous how mh better everyone elsegets whilewe stay pretty mh the same. Plus our extremely low hp,omplete lk of stats besides +dmg on mostrafted gear, and with thatomes a huge drop in mana and hp as you gear up at least through spellfirespellstrike gear.
Upgrading to myrafted sets I went from over 11k mana to about 9.5k and i only have2 pees. I'm really hoping we get some great upgrades in an uoming pah or at worst WotLK. or i might just leave
the mage in the dust, they are simply boming more and more obsolete, more and more un needed and easily repled by anotherlass thatan out dps us, out live us,and bring more utility to the raid. "Want a mana buuit?"
